Overall Personal Experience
I had an amazing time in Punta Cana, the place really is very beautiful and the people are incredible. This is a great place for a spring break vacation especially with friends. Like I said, the hotel I went to wasn’t the highest quality food but it did seem like a cute little village on the inside and it was a very soothing and friendly location. I would definitely recommend it for people looking for a low budget vacation: it is visually pleasing, includes a lot of activities, helps with setting up small excursions, and has a variety of restaurants (although food is definitely its weak point)
General Personal Tips
- The mosquitos in the Dominican Republic are killer, they love foreigner blood and will definitely leave you with a large amounts of bites if you do not wear bug repellent.
- Make sure to wear sunscreen. I have skin that rarely burns and I ended up with a very intense burn, reapply constantly.
