Overall experience
- Morocco’s textiles and vibrant colors were impressive as well as the amount of detail and beautiful designs put into the mosques. I found the culture extremely interesting and moroccan tea is phenomenal. I wasn’t too crazy about how they react to women dressing differently though the country’s customs should be respected so I do think if you come here you should understand that you have to sacrifice wearing shorts to see what morocco has to offer. The camel shows were really exciting and I got to watch while eating traditional cuisine that is filled with so many different spices. Unfortunately, none of us knew my sister was allergic to camels and the fur that flowed through the air gave her a major reaction which I had to tend to meaning I didn’t get to go to the remaining sites that my parents went to see.

General Tips
- (though no travel agency will warn you- the people’s islamic culture creates a certain expectation with how women should dress- they don’t believe in revealing shirts or shorts of any kind)
- I wore a lot of beach pants
- The men on the streets would get mad at my sister for wearing shorts so if you want to save yourself the trouble then don’t pack shorts despite the country’s dry hot climate
