Traveling with my friends
I have traveled with my friends in many different ways. We have gone to summer camps abroad together, we have gone to visit countries for school together, we have done road trips together, we have gone on spring break trips, and we even went on a Eurotrip together. Traveling with my friends has to be my favorite way to travel be cause apart from it being not as often as family trips, it usually is the kind of traveling I enjoy and I can be 100% of myself with them. With friends no one feels forced to do anything. Every person chooses whether or not they want to go to certain places or activities and they also are welcome to suggest or even find a partner to accompany them to do whatever they want to do. Friend trips can be any kind of travelers trip as long as there is communication and everybody understands basic rules.
Best times to travel with Friends
Spring Break:
Spring Break is the friend trip time of the year. There usually isn't a particular holiday being celebrated where you have to stay with your family and you are able to choose a place where you can have a great time with your friends and just create memories. With friends you also have the opportunity to go out and party while with family you cannot do so. You can hit the clubs or casinos (if 18 and over or 21 in the US) and if that's not your scene you don't have to go. Spring Break should definitely be a tropical vacation like Cancun or Punta Cana. These places don't just have beaches they have activities like ATVs and zip-lining and you can visit the little towns and learn about the culture as well. They also have a vibrant party scene if you like to dance and enjoy nightlife. These places are great for going to relax while also having a lively time. Summer: Summer is the longest vacation of the year and though some time should be dedicated to your family there is also plenty of time to be dedicated to your friends. You can go to so many different places in the summer. You can hit the road and road-trip to different places. Living in Miami I road-trip to Orlando for the theme parks with my friends a lot. You can also have long vacations with them. A common long vacation with friends is the Euro-trip. Euro trips are really popular in South America. They can be done whenever, but usually they're done after you graduate from high school. Euro trips are usually set up with specific agencies that work with young adults and have planned them before so that you can meet, choose your countries and they can set you up with hotels they know are safe for you and not too expensive. The agency i set it up with gave us bag tags, an itinerary book with information on every city and suggestions, they gave us a folder with all the reservations for the plane and train tickets so we always had everything very organized. |
